Developers Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners and MacFarlane Partners are constructing a 475,000 square foot mixed-use building directly across from the Nationals Park located at 1250 Half Street SE. The first phase is named The Kelvin and includes 310 apartments, with approximately 55,000 square feet of retail on Half Street. Punch Bowl Social the “eatertainment” leader signed up as the anchor retail tenant with 24,000 square feet on two floors. With immediate access to Metrorail, the building will offer residents modern amenities and finishes, with dynamic views of the ballpark infield from the rooftop deck and pool. Phase two plans for a boutique residential building, Envy, and additional retail along N Street. Jair Lynch purchased the site with all cash in the fall of 2014 and expects to deliver the first phase in fall 2019.
