About Capitol Crossing
Washington, DC
Capitol Crossing will be a 2.2 million square foot mixed-use development being built above I-395 (Center Leg Freeway). The project will restore three city blocks that were removed when I-395 was built in the 1960s and provide a seamless connection between Capitol Hill and the East End of downtown. Buildings within the project include
200 Mass: Located on the southeast corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 2nd Street NW, 200 Mass offers “One Up” amenities and is the home of DC’s largest private glass-enclosed entertainment rooftop.
250 North: Located on the southwest corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 3rd Street NW, 250 Massachusetts Avenue accounts for 539K SF of office space.
250 South: Located on the northwest corner of Massachusetts Avenue and G Street NW, 250 Massachusetts Avenue accounts for 539K SF of office space.
Center Block: Planned mixed-use buildings to include 166 apartments, 222 hotel rooms, and 21,600 square feet of retail. The residential and hotel uses would each occupy a 12-story building atop a shared two-story retail podium.
