About Burnham Place at Union Station
NoMa, Washington DC
Burnham Place is a transformative 3-million square-foot mixed-use development that will create a new urban neighborhood in downtown Washington, D.C.
Built atop the rail yards north of the Station, the project joins together the city’s central business district, Capitol Hill, and the emerging NoMa and H Street, NE neighborhoods with each other and the region. Burnham Place would feature 1.5 million square feet of office space, over 1,300 residential units, over 500 hotel rooms and approximately 100,000 square feet of retail, and includes expansions and enhancements to Union Station.
The project will provide direct access into a newly expanded and improved station facility, while restoring and preserving the station's existing historic building.
