Extell Development Company, in partnership with architecture firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, is constructing the Central Park Tower, a soon-to-be residential skyscraper rising at 217 West 57th Street in Midtown. Upon completion, the 99-story building will reach 1,505 feet-tall. The building will become home to a Nordstrom flagship store at its base, 179 pricey condos (which may include a $95 million penthouse), and 50,000 square feet of amenities. Construction is expected to wrap up in 2020.
