Permit Details: Fairview Temporary Fire Station The project will provide for the installation of a previously used Fairfax County owned modular building system, including trailers and a steel frame supported membrane structure, to serve as a temporary fire station and apparatus bay at 11112 Chapel Road, Fairfax Station, Virginia 22039 while the existing permanent fire station is demolished and replaced under a separate contract. The temporary station will be a 2,828 square foot pre-manufactured modular building system with an adjoining 4,905 square foot frame-supported membrane structure apparatus bay. Site improvements include an emergency apparatus apron, parking and access aisles, a pump and haul septic tank, drilling a water well and installing the associated pumps and piping, accessible sidewalks, stormwater management facilities, and site utilities.
