35-Story Condo Tower Climbs Skywards on the Upper East Side
Subcontractor, RC Structures, is more than halfway to topping out the concrete superstructure of a 35-story, residential tower, going up at 1487 1st Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Developed and constructed by , the building is set to contain condo units and square feet of retail space. Plans also call for a cellar level and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , the tower will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction is expected to take until the summer of 2025. The project is being funded by a $153 million construction loan, issued by Northwestern Mutual this past September.
