43-Story UWS Tower Trades for $265M
AIRE, a 43-story, residential tower, located at 200 West 67th Street on Manhattan's Upper West Side, has just been sold for $265 million. The structure was jointly purchased by The Carlyle Group and Gotham Organization, from the previous owner and developer, A&R Kalimian, in a deal brokered by CBRE.
Completed in 2010, AIRE contains 310 luxury apartments, offered in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations.
Tenant amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, an elevated, landscaped park, a party and event deck with a catering pavilion, indoor and outdoor children's play areas, two soundproof rehearsal spaces, a library, and a conference room. The building also has ground-floor retail space.
Designed by Handel Architects, the building stands 470 feet tall and totals 431,350 square feet.
