Initial demolition complete at future site of The Icon mixed-use development in Allston
The former single-story commercial building at the future site of The Icon has been fully demolished, clearing the way for foundation construction to commence. The Icon will be a new 6-story mixed-use building opening Spring 2018 featuring 132 apartment residences and 5,000 square feet of retail. The following is a photograph of the future site of The Icon:
