Breakthrough Properties & Tishman Speyer Win Approval for Fort Point Lab
Breakthrough Properties & Tishman Speyer have won approval for a 335,000-square-foot R&D project at 232 A Street in Fort Point. The site, currently predominantly being used as a surface parking lot, will be transformed to include a mix of laboratory/R&D and office use, ground retail, restaurant, civic, and/or cultural uses, and a 1.2-acre waterfront park. The project will be grounded in a complementary program and design that respects Fort Point’s history and character as a hub for arts, innovation, and industry.
