Brooklyn Development Site Scooped Up for $22.35M
A vacant development site, located at 1633 East 16th Street in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, has just been traded for $22.35 million. The lot was purchased by Arch Companies from the previous owner, AB Capstone, in an arms-length transaction.
The property measures square feet and is zoned for commercial use. It currently offers a buildable square footage total of 31,301.
AB Capstone previously sought to build a 68,000-square-foot retail building at the site, but it seems now that those plans have been abandoned. At this time, it's unclear what Arch Companies plans to do with the property, however, it's likely that any new development plans will be created from scratch.
