Construction Underway for Large North Jersey Warehouse
General contractor, , is currently in the process of pouring concrete slabs for a major industrial warehouse project, at 1098 US-46 in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
Developed by , the Class-A facility will be known as the "Ridgefield Logistics Center" and is designed to accommodate large distribution operations.
Set to total square feet, the building will feature 325,421 square feet of warehousing space, 65 loading dock doors, 3-drive-in doors, and square feet of mezzanine office space.
In addition, there will be 56-trailer parking spaces, 40-foot ceiling clearance heights, 3,000 Amp power, ESFR fire sprinkler systems, and 183 employee parking spaces.
Positioned about a mile from the New Jersey Turnpike, and 2 miles from Interstate 80, the property benefits from a prime location, which makes it highly desirable for large-scale shipping and receiving operations.
Due to their relatively simple design and minimal interior finishings, large warehousing developments like this one generally don't take an excessive amount of time to construct. The Ridgefield Logistics Center is no exception, and work is expected to finish fully by Q1 of 2023. Leasing has already commenced and is being handled by CBRE.
