Demo Ongoing at South Station
Slab demo is ongoing on the Atlantic Avenue side of South Station in preparation for a crawler crane work zone. Once three construction zones are complete the project team will begin work on the expanded bus terminal and parking garage which will be built over the tracks, platforms, and outdoor concourse area. They will also start work on the foundation and structure for the mixed-use tower. The newly expanded bus terminal is set to be complete in July 2022.
