Demo Permits Issued Ahead of 15-Story Homeless Shelter Project in Highbridge
Demolition permits have been issued ahead of a 15-story, mixed-use project, set to rise at 1298 Inwood Avenue in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. Developed by , the new building will contain a homeless shelter, with temporary residences. Plans also call for 10,983 square feet of community facility space, storage for up to 12 bicycles, and a cellar level.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. The building that will have to be demolished is a 2-story, commercial structure.
