Development Site Trades for $40M in Boerum Hill
A large development site, located at 268 Bergen Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, has just been sold for $40 million. It was purchased by Goose Property Management from the previous owner, Dillon Realty Interests, in a deal brokered by JLL.
The 46,692 square foot site is currently occupied by a low-rise, industrial/manufacturing building. The property was rezoned for residential use in 2022 and it offers a buildable square footage of 238,000.
Goose Property Management ultimately has plans to demolish the existing building and replace it with a 200-unit multifamily development. More details should become available once building permits are filed.
