Facade Work Underway for Financial District Hotel
The facade installation process is mostly complete at this time for 50 Trinity Place, a new 28-story hotel tower, located in Manhattan's Financial District.
The tower is being developed by FIT Investment Corporation and was designed from the ground up by Peter Poon Architects. General contractor, Cauldwell Wingate, topped out the project this summer and has since been working on the exterior cladding and interior spaces.
Once complete, 50 Trinity Place will be home to Hotel Indigo; a boutique stay with over 170 rooms. The tower shadows above historic city landmark, Trinity Church, and sits next to 77 Greenwich Street; another major development going up simultaneously. Construction is expected to complete this summer.
