Framing Ongoing for STEM Addition to Brookline High School
Structural steel framing is ongoing for the STEM building addition to the Brookline High School. The addition will add 70,000 square feet to include new biology and chemistry classrooms, a maker space, the culinary arts kitchen and café, as well as administrative and support spaces. This portion of the project is set to be complete in February 2021.
Elsewhere on the project at 111 Cypress Street foundation work is nearly complete for the upcoming 120,000 square foot academic building being added to the campus. This space will include room for general use classrooms, a library, physics labs, special education classrooms, a cafeteria, and a “white box” theater. Construction here is expected to wrap up in September 2021.
