Hotel/Condo Tower Now Planned for Fairfax County Site
Updated plans are now under review for the development of a vacant 1.73-acre site at 7901 Westpark Drive in Fairfax County, VA. Previous approvals called for a 175-foot, 200,000-square-foot office but per project documents, "due to persistent market conditions, the original proposal for Block F as an office use is no longer feasible." Now a 28-story hotel/condo tower has been proposed. The project would feature 225 hotel rooms, 32 luxury residential condominium dwelling units, and 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The hotel would occupy the lower floors of the building with the condos above and a bar/lounge on the top floor.
