Interior Finishing Progresses at 8 Court Square
General contractor, , is currently finishing the interiors at 8 Court Square, a 20-story, mixed-use tower, going up in Long Island City, Queens.
Jointly developed by Rose Associates and Werwaiss Properties, the building is set to contain rental apartments (including 48 affordable units) and square feet of ground-floor retail space. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center and yoga studio, a rec room, a roof terrace, a dog washing station, a business center with conference rooms, and a bicycle storage area.
Sitting on an irregularly shaped lot, the tower has frontages on Jackson Avenue, 44th Drive, and Thomson Avenue. It sits directly next to 27-19 Thomson Avenue, a recently completed, albeit smaller, mixed-use project, that began construction around the same time.
Designed by , 8 Court Square stands feet tall and totals square feet. Construction is expected to finish sometime this fall.
