Major Progress for Newark Warehouse Project
Site contractor, Petillo Companies, has shared a new photo of the construction progress at 357 Wilson Avenue; a Class-A, industrial warehouse project, going up in Newark, New Jersey. The pre-cast concrete walls of the structure appear to be erected, as grading work proceeds around the building.
Developed by , the square foot facility will be branded as "Prologis Ports Newark".
Designed by , it will contain 138,879 square feet of warehousing space. It will feature 40-foot interior clearance heights, 50’ x 56’ column spacing, 60-speed bays, 23 loading dock doors, 2 drive-in doors, and 16 additional trailer parking spaces. The development will also have a car employee parking lot, square feet of auxiliary office space, a full ESFR fire sprinkler system, and LED motion sensor lighting.
Located on 7.3 acres of land, the facility will be positioned just two miles from Port Newark-Elizabeth and the site boasts direct access to the NJ Turnpike. The project is expected to finish in less than a year, and the building will make its debut in April of 2024. Cushman & Wakefield is handling the marketing and tenant leasing duties.
