Mixed-Use Development Proposed in Harlem
Permits have just been filed for a 12-story, mixed-use development at 219 West 125th Street in Harlem. Developed by , the building would contain residential units and square feet of commercial space. This would likely come in the form of ground-floor retail. Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. An existing bank building would have to be demolished in order to make way for the new development. While it dates back to 1910, it was completely restyled in 1955 and doesn't retain enough historical character to warrant saving.
