Permits Filed for 29-Story Tower on LIU Brooklyn Campus
Permits have been filed for a 29-story tower at 75 Dekalb Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Developed by , it would contain residential units and 45,981 square feet of community facility space. Plans also call for a basement level and an enclosed parking garage with enough room for vehicles. Designed by , the structure would stand feet tall and total square feet. The new development would replace an existing 9-story structure on Long Island University's Brooklyn campus. More than likely, it will contain new student housing for the college, as evidenced by the fact that LIU already has an established relationship with . The company just recently finished developing a separate 34-story tower on the campus at 196 Willoughby Street.
