Permits Filed for 3rd Phase of Atlantic Chestnut in Cypress Hills

Building permits have just been filed for a 14-story, mixed-use building, at 275 Chestnut Street in Brooklyn's Cypress Hills neighborhood.

Developed by , the project represents the 3rd phase of the non-profit's 3-building, 1,166-unit, multifamily development, known as "Atlantic Chestnut".

The building in question is set to contain rental apartments, with 85 units dedicated to affordable housing. In addition to residential units, it will feature square feet of retail space, and 8,992 square feet of community facility space. Plans also call for 38 open parking spots and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for another 38 vehicles.

Designed by , with to serve as the general contractor, 275 Chestnut Street will stand feet tall and total square feet. It should be noted that Atlantic Chestnut's trio of buildings are designed to appear as one single structure but are in fact separate.
