Plans Filed for New Apartment Community in Sarasota
Developer Roers Companies has filed plans for a new apartment community in Sarasota that will offer 225 rental units. Calypso Sarasota is a combination of two previously planned apartment communities, Sapphire North and Sapphire South, which had received partial approval from the Sarasota Development Review Commission. The apartment community will be constructed on 5.75-acre site. Roers acquired the parcels for Sapphire North and South as as the lot in between which is currently a motel. The project is expected to go before the planning board in November 2023.
