Redevelopment Plans for Pasco Resort Gain Approval

The Pasco County Commissioners approved the plans of Miami-based developer Mast Capital to redevelop Saddlebrook Resort. The redevelopment will add housing and retail to the resort.  The plans call for a town center that will include 75,000 square feet of retail and office space, 465 apartments, and 25 townhomes. Additionally, Mast plans a 120-unit townhome community with 25,000 square feet of commercial space. Mast acquired the resort in March 2022. Saddlebrook Resort features a 500-key resort hotel, two 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses, 45 tennis courts, six pickleball courts, over 100,000 square feet of meeting space and a tennis academy. Located on a 480-acre site in Wesley Chapel, Florida, northeast of Tampa, the resort also includes a resort-style pool, full size driving range and nature preserve.
