Sirata Beach Resort Sold for $207 Million
The iconic St. Pete Beach resort, the Sirata Beach Resort, was sold for $207 million. The property was acquired by an entity connected to Columbia Sussex Corporation, a Kentucky-based hospitality company. Columbia Sussex’s portfolio includes multiple hotel brands in multiple states. According to Pinellas Couty records, the buyers secured a loan for $22.8 million from Huntington National Bank. Situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico, the iconic Sirata Beach resort offers 382 guest rooms along with a host of amenities. The resort features a private beach, beachfront pools, beachfront volleyball courts, beach and pool cabanas, as well as 30,000 square feet of event space. The resort includes three restaurants, Rum Runners, Compass Grille and Harry’s Beach Bar, the oldest beach bar in St. Petersburg.
