Superstructure Pours Begin for Multi-Building Resi Project in Jersey City

General contractor, , has started to pour the concrete superstructures of the multi-building, "West Side Square" development, going up at 1072-1075 West Side Avenue in Jersey City.

Developed by ; a Toronto-based investment fund, consisting of LanTree Developments, Altree Developments, Lanterra Developments, and Westdale Properties, the complex will consist of two, 13-story towers, connected by a series of 5-story buildings.

Designed by , with interiors by The Childs Dreyfus Group, the buildings will contain rental apartments, offered in studio and one to three-bedroom configurations. Tenant amenities are to include a 21,000-square-foot roof deck with a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, co-working spaces, grilling stations, a dog run, and a community room for private events.

In addition to residential units, plans call for square feet of ground-floor retail space and an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.

The taller buildings will stand feet tall and the entire development will total square feet. Construction broke ground back in December of 2023, and work is expected to complete by the summer of 2026.
