Superstructure Pours Commence for 7-Story Chelsea Mixed-Use Project
Subcontractor, RC Structures, has begun to pour the concrete superstructure of a 7-story, mixed-use project, going up at 335 Eighth Avenue in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.
Jointly developed by MAG Partners, Safanad, and MetLife, the building is set to feature rental apartments, with approximately 30% of the units to be dedicated to affordable housing. Plans also call for a Lidl supermarket on the ground floor.
Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. General contractor, , broke ground on the project in October of 2023. Shortly afterward at the beginning of this year, the project team secured a $151.4M construction loan from Bank OZK.
