About 88 Ames Street

88 Ames Street is a 22-story mixed-use tower that will contain approximately 280 residential apartments and 16,000 square feet of retail. Apartments will range from micro unit to two-bedroom configurations. 36 apartments at 88 Ames Street will be designated affordable. Approximately 140 existing parking spaces in the adjacent East Garage will be reserved for 88 Ames Street residents; no new parking will be built.


The tower at 88 Ames Street will be built at the former Ames Street entrance to the East Garage. The garage will be retained at the rear of the tower and will be partially demolished to make way for tower construction. The following are exterior renderings of the tower:
