Founded in 2003 in Marlborough, MA, Terratec spent their first years in business cutting their teeth on-site excavation, utility work, and foundation construction. After focusing in these fields for many years Terratec branched out to offer a full range of general construction services in 2015. From their early experience with excavation on all types of sites, Terratec now self-performs these often complicated tasks while acting as the GC saving time and money on projects. In fact, Terratec is still frequently hired by other contractors to perform site work on more complicated builds like 191 Talbot Ave. & 158 Winthrop St. 

For their largest project to date, Terretac is currently working on The Woodlands in Middleborough. Located on 34 acres, The Woodlands features a range of 1 through 3 bedroom homes across 10 buildings.  Building amenities include a 24/7 fitness center, indoor movie theater, and heated-salt water swimming pool. True to form Terratec also completed the site work for the Woodlands, around $4M worth of excavation and prep for this massive project. Construction is set to be completed on the full project by the end of January 2020.

Terratec also recently wrapped up construction on 1008 Tremont Street, on the Roxbury, South End Border. Situated in a tight urban site, this new building features ground-floor commercial space and 7 residential units on the upper floors.  Up next Terratec expects to kick off work shortly on a luxury residential project on a tricky site North of Boston. Matraji also plans to continue the company’s expansion, “we will continue to look to use our flexibility and technical know-how to assist developers across the Boston area with a wide array of projects from site work through completion. “
