Tony Schwan started his consulting experience in 1960 when he joined a consulting engineering firm in Phoenix, Arizona as a structural design engineer and later advanced to Vice President and member of the Board of Directors.
In 1969, Mr. Schwan founded A.V. Schwan & Associates. As a consulting engineering firm, A.V. Schwan & Associates were involved in different types of projects such as: high-rise hotels, school complexes, commercial and industrial manufacturing plants, shopping centers, medical clinics, religious facilities, and specialty structures.
Stephen Schwan began his career with A. V. Schwan & Associates in 1980 as a Structural Draftsman, commencing his full time career in 1988. Stephen took over the company in 1997 and has since been known for his dedication to providing excellent client services and taking a proactive approach to each project.
