As founding principal of Eustilus Eric has been practicing commercial and residential architecture on three continents since 2001. Raised in Southern California and educated at the University of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona Eric began his career designing and managing multi-million dollar homes for McClean Design.
From 2007 to 2010 Eric and his wife Daniela moved to Madrid, Spain for three years enjoying tapas, soccer and flamenco. With the wonderful world of the internet Eric continued his professional practice with McClean Design.
In 2010 Eric and Daniela relocated to Washington DC to work for Shalom Baranes Associates (SBA). During his time at SBA noteworthy projects included a 10 story hotel, 25 story office tower and a mixed used development of over 2 million square feet.
In 2016 Eric was chosen as a scholar for the AIA Washington DC 2016 Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program which help train and nurture the next generation of leaders. Recently Eric sat down with Nick Serfass of the American Institute of Architecture Students to record a video on his path in the field of Architecture.Through his various studies, worldwide travels and assorted projects he firmly believes that architecture needs to make a stand and be socially responsible to the environment.
