Gillespie and Co., Inc., (GCI) is a Massachusetts-based real estate investment and development firm founded by Ian Gillespie in 1982. Since that time, the firm has focused on larger commercial and multi-family projects in greater Boston.  

The firm has developed or redeveloped more than a million square feet of existing office space on an opportunistic basis, as well as managed an additional 1.6 million square feet of development capacity in four different projects. The firm also consulted on the permitting of 350 apartment units. These investments have resulted in substantial returns to the institutional funds and high-net-worth investors who entrusted their capital to the firm. 

GCI has traditionally partnered with institutional funds, including Lehman Brothers Holdings, Geometry Group Inc., Old Stone Development Corporation, and Greenfield Partners of Norwalk, CT.
