Since 1989, HomeAid has acted primarily as a developer of housing for non-profits that provide human services to those experiencing homelessness. With project savings of more than 30% of market costs on each HomeAid housing development thanks to our unique model, HomeAid truly is the non-profit for other non-profits. Established by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, OC Chapter, we act primarily as a developer of housing for non-profit service providers. In addition, we work with other public and private entities as a consultant on their housing development projects. Our unique model rooted in in-kind donations of labor and materials from our building industry partners saves a minimum of 30% of market costs on each HomeAid housing development. This allows our partners to focus their funds on services for the people who will call the development their home.
