The Architects Collective
Located in Inglewood, California, The Architects Collective (TAC) works collaboratively with real estate developers, public agencies, consultants and contractors to design places of dwelling. A clear expression of vision, program and context, our projects are shaped by the owner’s intent and program, the site conditions, and the opportunities for design solutions that create places of meaning. Drawing inspiration from the mild climate and diverse cultures of Los Angeles, TAC designs buildings that are highly functional, engender community, facilitate meaningful interactions between people, and inventively apply appropriate building systems to increase cost-effectiveness. TAC is led by Richard Prantis, AIA, LEED AP. Projects by TAC have been recognized with awards by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), Pacific Coast Builders Conference, 55+ Housing Council and the National Association of Home Builders.
