112 new Jackson Square housing units approved by Zoning Board
The City of Boston’s Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) approved 250 Centre Street, an upcoming building in Jamaica Plain’s Jackson Square featuring 112 apartment residences and 2,400 square feet of retail, last Wednesday (August 30th). Built by The Community Builders, 250 Centre Street will feature 44 affordable residences and will be located next to an upcoming 44-unit affordable housing building being built by Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation (JPNDC), which received zoning approval in April 2017. Both buildings were approved by the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) in August 2016 and will be built on Jackson Square’s 2.2-acre Site III.
