19-story mixed-income residential tower proposed in Downtown Crossing
St. Francis House and Planning Office for Urban Affairs propose to construct a 19 story tower in Downtown Crossing containing 126 mixed-income housing units at 41 Lagrange Street. Residences would range from extremely low income to market rates; it has not yet been disclosed whether residences would be apartments or condominiums. The proponents have filed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to construct the project with the Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) and are expected to reveal additional details of the proposed project in the coming months.
