26-Story Tower Project Rises Fast in New Rochelle
General contractor, , recently showed off its superstructure formation progress at 500 Main Street; a 26-story mixed-use development, going up in New Rochelle, New York. The concrete skeleton has risen extremely quickly over the last few months and is now close to topping out, with around 5-floors left to pour.
Developed by , the new building will contain rental apartments and a select amount of affordable housing units. Units will be offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations.
The ground floor will feature square feet of retail space and a 23,000-square-foot church. Plans also call for an enclosed, 5-story parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
Designed by , 500 Main Street will stand feet tall and total square feet. Several luxurious amenities will be offered, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a resident lounge, a swimming pool, rooftop terraces, and an automated parking system. The project has created over 300 construction jobs, and when complete, almost 900 people will call the building home.
