425 Park Avenue Officially Opens for Business
A grand opening ceremony was held late last week for 425 Park Avenue; a gigantic, 47-story office tower, that recently completed in Manhattan's East Midtown district.
Developed by L&L Holding Company, BentallGreenOak, and Tokyu Land Corporation, the tower contains square feet of Class-A office space and is the first full-block office development to grace Park Avenue in nearly 50 years.
The building boasts multiple outdoor terraces for office workers to enjoy, and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in more light.
In addition to office space, there is a Three-Star Michelin restaurant, located on the ground floor, as well as an enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles.
The structure has been thoughtfully engineered to achieve LEED Gold certification, but in addition to this, it will become the first WELL-certified building in all of New York City.
Designed by Foster + Partners, with Adamson Associates Architects serving as the architect of record, 425 Park Avenue stands feet tall and totals square feet. The project's general contractor, Tishman Construction, began construction back in 2015 and ultimately finished this summer. Since then, the project team has been working on final touches and leasing arrangements.
