780 American Legion Highway Under Review
The proposed mixed-use project at 780 American Legion Highway in Roslindale is now under review. The project would include two new buildings: a behavioral and clinical health facility with 22 units of supported housing for youths who are aging out of the Commonwealth’s foster care system, and 93 housing units. The housing units would be a mix of workforce rental units, and owner-occupied townhouse condominium units. When complete, the overall development will provide a new state of the art replacement offices for the Home for Little Wanderers as well as expanded clinical facilities for the Dimock Street Neighborhood Health Center.
Plans call for the project to be built in phases over three to four years. The mixed-use clinical facility and affordable residences would be constructed first followed by relocating the existing HFLW building into the new clinical facility and the demolition and construction of the 93 new multi-family units.
