80 Units Proposed for Corner of 6th and L Streets NW
A proposal is under review to retrofit the building at 6th and L Streets NW into an 80-unit corporate housing development with ground-floor retail. The units would be fully furnished, and made available to those in town on business for extended stays. The new building will be 70 feet tall plus penthouse and will also include three four-story townhouses with bays and ground-floor entry. Amenities will include a cellar-level gym and a communal roof deck above the townhouses. The development will also provide 10 parking spaces.
