Affordable Housing Lottery Kicks Off for Vista65
NYC Housing Connect has started an affordable housing lottery encompassing 56 units within a 23-story, mixed-use tower project, going up at 97-12 65th Road (aka 98-08 Queens Boulevard) in Rego Park, Queens. Eligible applicants must earn between $77,143 and $198,250 annually, or sit at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI). Applications will be accepted either online or by mail until February 2, 2024.
Developed by , and known as "Vista65", the building is set to contain luxury rental apartments and square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Plans also call for 27,430 square feet of community facility space, as well as a large, enclosed parking garage, with enough room for vehicles. Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a yoga room, a children’s playroom, a resident lounge, a business center, and an outdoor terrace.
Designed by , with serving as the general contractor, the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet. Construction is being financed with a $125 million loan, issued by Madison Realty Capital, and work is expected to wrap up by the winter of 2024.
