Amazon Withdraws Plans for a Last Mile Warehouse

Amazon announced it's abandoning plans for a last-mile warehouse development on 22 acres in Andrew Square after receiving a vote of denial from the Zoning Board of Appeal. 

The site is approximately 196,644 square feet of developable land owned by Core Investments and includes 10.57 contiguous acres located at 475-511 Dorchester Avenue with frontage on Southampton Street, and a second 4.5-acre site, 371-385 Dorchester Avenue, located one parcel away.

The land is located steps to MBTA Red Line rapid transit service to Downtown Boston and Cambridge.
