Bronzeville Lakefront Development Approved
One of the largest development projects in Chicago's History received the go-ahead to begin its elaborate $3.8 billion project of revitalizing Bronzeville's Lakefront district. The 50-acre development will be turned into upwards of 8-12 million square feet of planned development including apartments, retail, restaurants, museums, and civil use spaces. This site will include over 1300 affordable housing units which are currently in high demand. This multi-decade development will bring new life to the southside of Chicago.
