Brooklyn Mixed-Use Project Receives Final Approval
A sizable mixed-use development proposed for 270 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood has finally been approved by the NYC Mayor's Office. will now build a sqft building with residential units. The story structure was designed by and will stand feet tall. Though the vast majority of the space is dedicated to residential use, the building will also include over 20,000 sqft of retail area, a vehicle parking garage, and a 1,128 sqft community facility. In order to facilitate the project, BRP East Brooklyn Development, LLC had requested a zoning map amendment. During the public review process, the City Council decided to refer a modified application back to the City Planning Commission (CPC) for revision. The CPC wound up approving these modifications, and the Mayor's Office was able to give the project the green light.
