Construction Staging Underway for Norwood Hospital
Construction trailer deliveries and mobilization are underway at Norwood Hospital as redevelopment of the level II trauma hospital begins. The redevelopment, approved with $20 million in federal funding, will feature 130 private acute care rooms, and new emergency services. The hospital has been shuttered since 2020 when floodwaters inundated the building.
