Cut & Cap Permit Issued to Approved Bunker Hill Housing Redevelopment Project
A cut & cap permit has been issued to 55 Bunker Hill Street in Charlestown as construction is set to begin on the first phase of redevelopment. Demolition began on the project in late December.
Plans call for a redevelopment of the existing 27.24-acre, 1,100-unit Bunker Hill public housing project into 2,699 mixed-income residential units with a neighborhood retail component. In total, project will span square-feet of newly-construction space.
