Demolition Begins on Boynton Yards Building 2
Demolition has begun at 808 Windsor Street, the site of Building 2 at Boynton Yards in Somerville. The second approved building in the larger Boynton Yards development, Building 2 will feature a 12-story, 366,000 SF building with retail, arts/creative enterprise, and office/lab/R&D uses on the first two floors, lab and commercial uses on the upper floors with four levels of below-grade parking.

Boynton Yards will feature 6 mixed-use buildings totaling over 1.3M square feet. Plans call for approximately 984,500 SF of office, research and development, and lab enabled uses, approximately 338,000 SF of residential space (around 330 units), 42,500 SF of retail and/or restaurant space, new Civic and open space, and approximately 1,002 structured below-grade parking spaces.
