Demolition Completes Ahead of 27-Story Tower in Downtown Brooklyn
Demolition has wrapped up on a 3-story, commercial building, at 19 Rockwell Place in Downtown Brooklyn, ahead of a brand new, 27-story tower project.
Developed by , the building is set to contain rental apartments, offered in studio, one, and two-bedroom configurations. Approximately 90% of the units will feature a trapezoid-shaped balcony.
The development will also boast an extensive amenities suite, including a roof deck lounge overlooking the NYC skyline. Plans further call for a cellar level and an enclosed, vehicle parking garage. Designed by , the structure will stand feet tall and total square feet.
The project site spans square feet and is situated within a big cluster of new developments. The property sits right up against 98 DeKalb Avenue and just across the street from 625 Fulton Street; two very large projects that are also being constructed at this time.
is serving as the general contractor of the project and work is expected to kick off soon. Construction is anticipated to take until the spring of 2025 if all goes according to plan.
