Demolition Permit Request Filed for Site of Mixed-Use Development Planned in Tampa Heights
A demolition permit application has been filed by Chicago-based developer Tandem for the site of a new development that would bring 248 apartments and nearly 10,000 square feet of retail space to Tampa Heights, just north of downtown Tampa. Located at the intersection of West Columbus Drive and North Tampa Street, the development is less than two miles from downtown Tampa and close to the intersection of I-275 and I-4. The developer plans to work on the design in 2023 with construction expected to begin in early 2024.
