Developer Breaks Ground on 6-Story Mixed-Use Project in Wakefield
Florida-based developer, , has held a groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of construction for a 6-story, mixed-use development, set to rise at 4750 White Plains Road in the Wakefield neighborhood of the Bronx.
Designed by , the new, square foot building, will contain apartments, consisting of both market-rate and affordable housing units.
Tenant amenities are to include a fitness center, a roof terrace, and a rear patio, complete with seating areas and a veranda.
In addition to residential space, the ground floor of the structure will feature a new house of worship for the Wakefield Grace United Methodist Church.
is serving as the general contractor for the project. It's not yet clear how long the build will take, but for a structure of this size, a 1-year timeframe seems plausible.
